Making a contribution to CSS is a Mitzvah and an opportunity to recognize a significant occasion or honor, memorialize, or thank someone important in you life.  Your donations help sustain our vibrant community of Jewish living, learning, and prayer. 

There is a $10.00 minimum for most contributions.  Some funds have other minimums as noted below.

These funds support our general operating budget and programming.
 
Randi Poliner Memorial Fund

 

Advocacy

Supports the Cook for a Friend program.
Supports needy families in Northeast Philadelphia.
Supports needy families in Northeast Philadelphia.  Minimum. $100.00
 
 

Building and Grounds

Supports library programming and the library book collection.
Supports the courtyard garden.
 
 

Education

Supports educational activities for Holocaust programs, commemorations, Jewish education and Jewish continuity.
Supports Religious School programs.
Supports students in Religious School and camp.
Supports CSS Teen and College Outreach programs.
Supports our CSS Preschool, Library and our Mitzvah Fund
 

Israel and Jewish Continuity

Provides scholarships for student educational trips to Israel.
 
 

Ritual

Funds new prayer books. Minimum $72.00
Funds new prayer books for our Egalitarian service. Minimum $54.00
Supports the needs of the Egalitarian service.
Supports the congregation Shabbat Kiddush.
 
 

Scholarship

The following  funds provide scholarships for students continuing their Jewish Education.

 
 
A 3% surcharge will be taken from your total donation for the use of a credit card.

CSS will use reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality and security of the information we obtain from you.  We will collect and use information from credit card transactions only for purposes of payments or donations to CSS.  We do not disclose your information to or with anyone outside CSS, except as required by law.
